Choose Your Focus Area: Art, Science, or Practical Life

Currently, Thrive Space does not have separate application fees.

Main Track Option - Art - Whimsical Watercolors

Join Jess in the art room! In this class we will learn the basics of working with watercolor materials, practice a variety of watercolor techniques, and make several finished paintings, greeting cards and bookmarks. Come paint some amazing creations, including this whale shark!

Best for kids ages 10 +

Main Track Option - Science

Join Carla in an engaging science class that delves into the scientific method! Students will explore the essential steps of observation, hypothesis, experimentation, and conclusion, all while conducting exciting hands-on experiments. This class is designed to spark curiosity and foster critical thinking skills, making science accessible and fun for all learners. Prepare to dive into the world of discovery and innovation!

Best for kids ages 11 +

Main Track Option - Experimental Baking

Join Carisa in the kitchen for an exciting baking class where you'll create delicious cookies, pies, and a variety of other baked goods! This class emphasizes experimental baking using organic and alternative ingredients to craft healthy sweets and treats that satisfy your cravings.

Ages 12 +

There is a an additional supply fee of $50 for this track. Spaces are limited!

Morning Clubs!

Morning Clubs - Student run clubs, teacher guide supervised!

10:00 am - 10:50 am

*These clubs are free to students enrolled in the main track and are given enrollment priority. If a student would like to sign up for morning clubs only and not the main track the option would be $130 per student per semester pending availability.

Teen Club - Best for teens 14-16 years old! Come socialize, play games, or eat breakfast together.

Book Club - For students 10-14 years old! Student run (teacher guide supervised). Students will vote on what books to read.

Doodle Club - For students 10-14 years old! Student run (teacher guide supervised). Students can chat, doodle, and get to know one another.

Use Your Noodle

-1:00 pm - 2:00 pm - Everyone comes together after lunch and free time. This is a time to work on your creative and resourceful thinking with Thrive friends! What should you expect? Game days, individual challenges, team challenges, decoding, creative days, and practical life lessons! Every week may be different!

-10:00 am - 10:50 am - Morning Clubs - optional

-11:00 am - 12:00 pm Main Track Focus Area (students choose either art, science, or practical life for the entire session).

-12:00 pm - 1:00 pm - Lunch and Free Time

-1:00 pm - 2:00 pm - Use Your Noodle!

Your investment allows you to drop off your child in a secure, creative, and positive environment that is working towards building a community of like-minded families and individuals. While we are secular in nature, we are an inclusive group that thrives on creating critical thinkers.

We want to build a community! Our focus is on enrichment, social, and practical life options. We hope to make these things accessible to all kids. Everyone can have a creative side. This is a space to explore ideas and concepts and approach the great beauty and wealth of knowledge that is available through both art and creative thinking.

We are working on building a community of families and a place where the enrolled students have time to form their own bonds or strengthen existing ones. We know price is often a factor for families and each one has its own budget, so we are happy to offer two payment plan options.

We are an insured, LLC registered small business. To show our teachers we value them, our passionate teacher guides are compensated for their work. We will be renting space at a beautiful location in Mechanicsburg.

Due to our small size and private business status, we unfortunately lack the resources to deal with certain behavioral, learning, and emotional situations or conditions.
